Hey, I’m Gowtham. 👋

I write The Conveyor - a publication for professionals improving their supply chains.

I started in supply chains back in 2017, when I launched an electronics manufacturing company. 

Things were humming along… until the pandemic hit. 

Suddenly, parts disappeared, lead times ballooned, and freight costs went through the roof. I didn’t know what to do - and honestly, the headlines weren’t much help.

What was helpful? Talking to people who’d been through it before.

Operators. Freight managers. Planners. The ones who’d already made the mistakes, solved the same problems, and lived to tell the tale.

That experience stuck with me.

But when I spoke with other supply chain professionals, I realized most didn’t have that kind of network - no easy way to learn from what others had tried.

That’s what inspired me to start The Conveyor.

Every week, I talk to operators solving real supply chain problems -  then break down how they did it, step-by-step, with lessons you can apply in your own work.

What I Hope For

There’s a lot of wisdom in this industry - but most of it stays hidden.

My goal is to surface that wisdom.

To create a space where supply chain pros learn from each other. Where ideas get shared, not hoarded.

Where supply chains are something we build together, not figure out alone.
