Hi - I'm Gowtham, and I started The Conveyor.
For seven years, I ran a PCB manufacturing company in Toronto. For most of that time, I barely thought about my supply chain. It just worked.
Then COVID hit, and everything broke at once. Components I'd ordered for years suddenly had no delivery date. Prices doubled overnight. Freight went through the roof. And I was left staring at questions I had no good answer to: Should I stockpile? Switch suppliers? Renegotiate every contract I had?
I went looking for help. The news was everywhere - port delays, chip shortages, rates exploding - but it only ever told me what was happening. Never what to do about it.
You know what actually helped? Other operators. People in the same trenches, fighting the same fires. They'd tell me what they tried, what worked, and what blew up in their face. A ten-minute call with someone who'd already solved my problem was worth more than every report and headline combined.
