DoorDash has launched delivery from every Costco warehouse in Canada, expanding its reach into the country’s wholesale grocery market. Costco operates 115 warehouses in Canada, according to its fiscal fourth-quarter filing.
Costco members can link their membership in the DoorDash app to shop groceries, household essentials, electronics, seasonal goods and Kirkland Signature products. Non-members can purchase a membership through Costco.ca before linking it.
DashPass subscribers pay no delivery fee and receive reduced service fees on Costco orders with a subtotal of C$85 or more. Other fees, taxes and tips still apply.
“Costco members have expressed an appetite for years to be able to shop from their local warehouse on DoorDash,” said Mike Goldblatt, DoorDash’s VP of enterprise partnerships.
DoorDash joins Instacart, which began delivering from Costco warehouses in Canada in 2020 and also powers Costco’s own same-day delivery service, and Uber Eats, which added Costco in 2024.
The launch follows DoorDash’s nationwide US Costco rollout in September. DoorDash says it now partners with all of Canada’s largest grocery retailers, including Loblaw, Empire’s Sobeys banners, Metro and Walmart.
Costco’s comparable sales in Canada rose 7.8% in fiscal 2026, or 6.7% excluding gasoline prices and currency effects. Digitally enabled comparable sales grew 20.9% across Costco’s markets.
